Sweet! Looks just like mine did for about an hour after I got it.......The urge to build it out was rapidly satisfied.

    Enjoy!!!

Sweet. I love the polished look. Almost looks like brushed aluminum. Didn't the Flux get de-horsted... or is that an '05?

berber carpet...yup...just moved in last weekend. will be busy unpacking and setting up for a few weeks. (part of the build up delay, along w/ the need to sell a car to generate component money...) ...at least there are some good trails near the new place, and they are calling my name!
Went ahead and got an '05 frame set before TNT takes over, just in case...
Was VERY tempted to get it painted orange, but my first introduction to Turner bikes was the MTBR review of the flux, and I loved the polished finish. No way would I ever regret that.
Once I better learn how to post pix here, I'll post an update during/after the build.
I can't wait to push the pedals...

When I was on the lookout for a new frame, and heard about the new TnT design, I emailled Turner asking if the horsts were going to go on some sort of "clearance sale" to make room for the new models. Jarett hit me back:

The bikes that we are currently selling will not be marked down. We will be selling bikes with HL rears up into December or until they are gone. I am recommending that you should put your name on one if you really want a Turner with HL rear before they are gone.

From that, it seems to me that the announcement of the TnT design has caused something of a feeding frenzy on horst models? So I dunno - maybe this is a marketing ploy to clear out inventory!

"marketing ploy" ? --I doubt that. I was planning on getting a Flux anyway.
"what parts do I need?" --building from scratch. I've got the [new] spot and a road bike to ride, and not enough time to ride any of them right now, so there is no hurry other than just being anxious. So I'm gonna take my time to spec it out. I expect these 2 Turners to last me a looong time.
Sometimes the anticipation is the best part. (...although I doubt that in this case!)
