    F U Death Mud

Some of our riding spots have the worst mud known to man. Luckily I didn't go too far through it and it was the only section, but I've had it so bad that your bike weighs 3x and is simply caked (tires become the size of motorbike tires). This stuff STICKS and doesn't come off your bike until you reach crazy speeds, but since the bike won't roll fast in the first place with the mud it just tends to stay there. About the only cool thing is how my front wheel is "camoflauge" in the first pic.

    Nope, it's just one 1999 Monster T.

(actually I have a backup though, so I do have Monster Ts)

Yeah, it's like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade where he jumps onto the bridge that blends with the canyon.

Jayem, it was worth it just to have gotten that first pic. That's a classic.

When they tried to do a demo day here in SD recently, a shop guy rode about 50 yards out, turned around and came back. They weighed the bike before and after, with a delta of 22.4 pounds.

And, yes, that picture does remind me of the leap of faith from the lion's mouth.
