    Drop Vid

A quick vid of us out having fun on our local trails. A group of riders were congregrated by some of the 'upgrades' that have found their way on to one of our best runs.

    Fun stuff:

    Thanks to Will for shooting.

Thats what I was thinking too... Lotta chatter. Some like a big audience for stepping their game up. Positive reinforcement is a good thing.

And I echo SSINGA's comment about the exit velocity on that drop. There were a coupla that seemed they were tempting the Endo Gods. Glad everyone stuck their landings, at least everyone in the vid.

They have a small 1 inch high board running across the lip of the drop. It kind of pops your front wheel up a little. That helps with the slower speeds. If you launch too far, you'll miss the transition after the drop. Plus, since the dirt is so loose, you have a hard time getting rid of the speed you gain when you land. You really can't hit it that fast if you want to try to link up the second ladder.

I can't believe guys were going off of that on stumpjumpers. In the first clip, what you don't see are all of the branches on the bush moving after the rider doesn't make the turn and rams it.

No one got hurt, but they tried.

Wrist is doing okay. Its still stiff and I proabably have 60 percent of the motion back. Riding helps with the range of motion and strength - just can't fall on it!!!
