Nope. She's still on her blur. I would like to get her on something different (blur pivots suck for her mechanic = me), but that's a process. She's more interested in riding than getting new gear, as strange as that sounds. I think a small 5spot would be interesting for her, although the standover might not work for her. A hint of some changes for next year, however, gives me some hope. She also has lots of deal opportunities in the bike world (not Turner though) that will make a Turner a harder sell.

Yup. She rides a Burner as well. I offered to buy her a new Flux and she got very defensive: "There's nothing wrong w/ my bike!" Close to 5 years on it now and I'm not even sure I've greased the bushings more than once or twice. 120 pounders don't break many frames

Chicks are so weird! Ditto in my world. Happily, new Turners just sort of show up periodically around here and she learns to like it. Right now she has a 5-Spot and a 7-Pack, and if a small Flux fell into my lap, she'd rock that one too.

    Barny pics available on request.

Intense Spider with 100 mm fork to slow things down a bit. Also, a full Enduro bearing kit, so her mechanic (also = me) can fuss over his own bikes.

Last year she picked up my Sultan for some reason, and declared she might like a Flux. Why, you ask? Why because she liked how the shock placement made it easier to pick up the bike than her Spider.

    Different priorities, for sure!

Felt Virtue 4 thanks to Chad @ Red Barn.

She is loving it so far. Just trying to get over that endurance hurdle.

    Bikes

Yup, she was on a 02 up until last fall when we pick up one the the 5 Spot demo bikes for her. She originally resited, giving the old "my bike is fine". But once she rode the 5 spot she was very impressed.

Not entirely true... I've got my wife many purty rocks... she never turns one of those down. But she sees no need to upgrade the bike.

She used to ride a 5spot.

Now she rides a Demo 7 for DH and an Enduro SL for her trailbike, but spends most of her time on her singlespeed or her BMX bike.

My wife rides a 2006 small Flux and she loves it!!! She specifically asked for the pink CK headset. She was riding a KHS team soft tail and one day out of the blue she asked me why I was always riding on "killer bikes" and said I want a turner too - it looks like they rock!!! That was the chick bike talk I got and a few days later the turner frame was ordered.
    Sit and spin my ass...

SO's that ride means UGI trickle down

My girl is just getting into "real" mtb's, I put real in quotes just to be a bike snob. She just got rid of her MGX - ugh - after I bought her a used Trek Fuel to get her started. I would have just jumped into a Turner, but I don't know how much she's gonna like riding dirt. But she really wants to ride with me and not ride me, so she's really enthused about getting into my favorite activity. The beauty is, I can UGI the hell out of my rides and then put the old parts on her bike. "Hey baby, just put a new rear deraileur on your bike, now we both have X-9's."

Who cares what bike she rides....

...just be un-f'in-believably happy she rides!

Ditto. I suspect there's alot of us who feel the same.
I've been single again for a while now and would seriously dig on having a riding partner of the opposite gender....especially one who could kick my butt on the trail...

After two brain surgeries my wife's mountain bike days are pretty much over - the pain in her neck and back is just too much - however, she still rides her 700c touring bike with a set of BIG high rise bars I added so she she can sit upright. She rides that thing 6 days a week weather permitting. I now ride off road with my daughter who is already suggesting that a FS rig would "help out in the technical stuff" - I'm looking for an xs O2
