    DHX coil spring question

I just got my DHX coil for my 5 Spot. I know that I needed a 7.5 i2i with a 2 inch stroke. The shock that I got says 600 X 2.35 on the spring. I did measure the i2i and it seems to be a 7.5 best I could tell. Whats up with the 2.35? Is this the wrong spring/shock set up or what?

    Thanks

The 2.35 refers to the compressible length of the spring (how far you can compress it before the individual coils bind against each other). As long as this number is greater than the stroke of the shock (2.00 in your case), you are fine. If the spring's compressible length were shorter than the stroke it would bind before the shock was done compressing: bad. Fox does not make springs any shorter anymore anyway.
