    Czech it!

Czech out some of the killer action from sunday! SuperStock and his right hand man(Will) invaded San Diego and took no prisoners. We met up with them saturday on Noble Canyon and then again yesterday in the action that you see here. Great riding with you chaps!

Winston, Termie and the rest of the OC crew....you guys rule! It's always a pleasure to ride with you.

Note: Watch carefully the video of the guy(Matt), lawn darting off of "Lifeflight". This is the stunt that JOD broke her neck on.

The guy before the accident cleared it very smothly. Did he pick the right line? Personally I would have done what the first guy did, just jump the whole thing.

What is making the bike flip. It looks like there is a rock that catches the front wheel. Did you have to lift the front wheel to clear it?

Nice, ripping it up. I love seeing people just attack the trail.

Looks like a great riding weekend you guys had.

Nice work guys. Riding and videos are awesome!

What’s that Terminaut fella been up to of late? I haven't seen him about on the boards for a long time, either that or I've had my eyes closed.

    Thanks for sharing, Dave.

    Brrraaaaaaapppp....

Maaannn...what an awesome time riding this Sat and Sun. Nothin' like hitting the the trail with more then a dozen cool people, no wierd vibes or attitudes, just having a super good time. Winston thanks for bringing your crew down, we'll be happy to host another ride out there anyday -- pleasure riding with ya'll as always.

Superstock : that vid is great but it really doesn't do Barney Rubble justice as far as showing how much chunk is on the that section of trail -- you were really throwing the wood on the fire through there man -- nicely done.

    Downieville here we come...

Ayayay...I believe Terrible Paulsy is working on this portion of the trip as we speak. This otta be interesting...you know what the smell of strippers does to him...he can smell the scent of a stripper from a mile away.

    Hey there Dave...

I've been out of biking for this entire year up till just a couple of weekends ago. My wife and I have been busy doing the having-a-second-baby thing so with a newborn in the house I just haven't had time for message boards nor riding.

Until a couple of weeks ago my last ride about 6 months ago! :-( Hoping to get back into it though. Cheers!

Hey JOD! I hope you're asking for a picture of the end-product and not the actual "busy doing" part?!!!

You probably saw my CONGRATS already but I'll say it again here just in case. CONGRATS!!!

Here's my boy at around 20 minutes old. I think he's going to be a strong rider with as much kicking as he was doing in his mommy's tummy!

    No...that's Billy Gibbon's...Man!

JOD is kicking ass and should be back in the saddle in a few months, if not sooner.

I'm waiting on HucklerMark, Dirty D, and Terrible Paulsy. We're heading up for Downieville for 3 days of batchelor party rideing. Should be epic!

Termie: Congrats again, on the newborn!

Here's a few more pics from saturday.

Congratulations Termi! Cool to hear that you’ve managed to get a bit of riding in too. It’s always such a big relief to get the cranks turning again after spending so much time off the bike.

    Nice shots there too Aqua!

It's coming...It's hard to know how things are progressing and where I should be because I've got nothing to compare the recovery to. It's frustrating, slow, but probably going just as it should (I have a somewhat more pessimistic rather than ootimistic outlook in general, so though I shouldn't complain cuz I'm not in a wheelchair, I still focus on what I can't do). I have decent normal "everyday" movements, but when I try to isolate certain movements (like if I keep my shoulders and lower neck still and try to look up to the right or left, it's impossible) I find out what needs a lot of work. I can workout, spin on a stationaly bike, even jog gently for a few seconds, but no jumping jacks yet and no chunky rocks (for a long time). The other day I was riding Steve's bike around in a parking lot and rode up to a curb and I couldn't make myself try to go up it. I thought, what if I don't pull up hard enough, then what? I did ride my dad's tandem bike with him the other day, which was great.

Thanks for asking about how I'm doing. I have a 5spot on order and I should be riding it by the end of summer.

Dirty D, Aquaholic, HecklerMark, and a few others are exploring Downieville as I write. I guess the weather is great, but at the "top" still quite a bit of snow. I'm sure there will be a pic or two when they get back. As long as they make it to the wedding by 12 noon on Sunday, things should be fine. And preferably with no carnage on the face at least, at least D anyway. I told him he can beat up any other part of his skin with cuts and bruises, but try to protect the face so we can get some decent pictures.

    Later,

    JOD
