    Czar in SoCal

Called several turner dealers in SoCal looking for someone with a Czar I could look at and throw a leg over, but came up empty handed. Left a message at Turner but thought maybe someone here could point me in the right direction.

Anywhere in SoCal (I'm in OC) I could see, touch, and possibly test ride or even just pedal around the parking lot before ordering one?

The wife (CFO in her mind) is giving me a hard time because I can't pick a bike someone has in stock.

    Thanks ahead of time.

Had a large dw spot and wished it was a medium, not sure if that helps since its a completely different frame, wheel size, style bike. Just got a call back from Tom at Turner who was super helpful and is going to set me up with a demo soon. Looking forward to it and I hope they have something in stock that will work for me. NEED NEW BIKE.

Yep tried the path, in fact that's where I bought my last two Turners over the years. I was a little disappointed by them having more "mass produced" type bikes than I remember them ever having in the past. They had nothing Turner at all, and when I asked about Turner the response was, we can get a Turner if you want, but have you checked out this? Quickly realized it's not the same shop it used to be.

I ordered my Czar based on faith alone. I rode a large Sultan and my new large Czar fits me the same (although very different bikes). A bit of a drive from OC but Doug and Michael at North of the Border Bikes are as good as it gets and will make it well worth your time.

Indeed. The large Czar fits me perfectly at 5'10", just like the large Sultan. Some may think a trail build Czar is sacrilege but it works great. 70mm stem, 125 Lev, 2.4 Ardent EXO tires, Arch EX wheels and lots of sealant. Actually has room for larger tires and wider rims. ~28LBS as shown. This is a very stiff frame even under my 206LBS, beer guzzling arse. I Love it.

JRA Bikes & Brew in Agoura! Call first, but last time I was there they carried the Czar.
JRA is a nice shop, with fun nearby trails for your demo ride. Ask for Vince.
