    Czar/flux anxiousness

Thanks for bringing the Czar's out to Velobum yesterday DT. I rode the medium Czar last night and it is great. My local trail (Boo Hoff) is loaded with steep loose pitches and switchbacks. I'm only 5'7" and I love the cross-country geometry of the Czar (old school racer here) for our step climbs. The cockpit instantly felt good to me. But, I'm not crazy about getting the longer wheel base of the Czar through the Boo Hoff's many switchbacks.
I see the new Flux on other threads and I'm wondering if it might be a better fit. I know it's a little hush hush on the new Flux, but can I expect similar cross-country geometry from the new Flux? How much is a "slacker" head tube angle?

The Flux will be notably longer and more stable, therefore less likely to 'make' horse or hiker designed switchbacks. The longer TT per size and slacker HA due to current design philosophy. If you love the XC feel of the Czar it is as good as it gets. Flux being years younger will be more 'trail' than XC in feel.

The new Flux sounds the dog's bollocks.
I got some bad ideas in my head.

It's the cat's ass. I was told this is good because a cat's ass looks like a star.

Animal anatomy analogies aside, the new Flux sounds like a winner.

I've been on a Warden for the past year+ and just picked up a used Endorphin 27.5 frame. 130mm of pure fun. Kind of a BC cross country bike, maybe where the Flux is headed. Short travel, capable, FUN.
I got some bad ideas in my head.
