Bloody hell that head tube is massive!! Love it!

Interesting about the shorter seat tube, now making me wonder if I'd be better off on an XL frame at 183cm. Only thing I didn't like about the XL before was the long head tube. DT when will the new geo charts be available?

Beautiful! Wish they lengthened that TT a little on the Burner, but still awesome changes.

OK. So this is all really cool.

    Question-No pic of the Sultan.

Is the Sultan getting the tapered HT (hopefully yes).Longer TT options for us gorillas?
If so my order will be in next week when the crew returns.

Looks like some nice refinements. Perhaps the one to get me to trade-in 5spot.

Just nit-picking on the bike description probably written at 2am or in the van on the way to Sea Otter but really, "new All-Mountain tubing"? WTF is that? At least call it "enduro-ready" tubing or "more burly than xc tubing" or some new catch-phrase that is more marketable

Ditto - Me too. And with the seat tube now being 18in on the Large I could go for the upsize from my current med 2010 Spot. (being 5'9" with a 6'2" arm span)...

That burner is so psyck it should be rushed to hospital.
[quite jealous that just j seems to have TWO new Turner-toys to play with]

Yeah of course, initial impressions are that they definitely feel like they will needing breaking in as they certainly don't match the suppleness of the rear... Yet.

Looks like there could be a few old 5spots going cheap, the new Burner is just what I've been waiting for.

I might just do the trade-in if it's available. Not sure I could get more than $1000 or $1500 for a 5 year old bike ridden hard and put away wet.

So if they are not posting any photos of the new Sultan. Maybe that's the big news.

Wish list- Longer TT than old geo, 62mm HT, 148 Boost rear. Hope I get it.

I want the 29er/B+ option with Burner like qualities. Id also prefer to run a 36x20 fork.
    I just wonder if a 36(29er) Fox will clear a 2.8-3.25 B+ tire?

So raw finish is obviously still available, and there was a couple of new colour schemes on display in the facebook pictures, wonder how many options are going to be available? As cool as the new colours are, I'm hopeful that plain old anodised black is still available...

Can't wait to see the 27.5+ sultan. After riding my bucksaw quite a few times I would love a 120-140mm full squish, dw link, 67-68* HA, sub 17.5 chain stay, 27.5x3 tire or 26x3 tire bike. I think a bike like that would be perfect for me and my riding style/terrain. Could the sultan make me sell my mojo hd and bucksaw? Would love a Made in the USA frame painted to match my jeep wrangler rubicon. Ok I'm getting a little carried away now.

Will the Sultan still be available in a 29 or is this the Czar taking over the 29 format?

The Turner newsletter I just read said something like 'the venerable sultan will be offered in 27+ format'...that suggests that the frame is pretty unchanged to me.

Trying to think through the differences/target markets between the Kahn and Sultan 27.5+
    1. Fat vrs: not overly fat tires
    2. Single chain ring vrs 2 (or 3?)

From my uneducated perspective there seems to be a lot of cross-over...

    directly from the newsletter;
Donít confuse it with a fat bike as its manners and purpose are more trail oriented, and it comes equipped with an uncanny ability to take the rider over and through terrain that would bring a 2.0 tire to a screeching halt.

Hmmm, it feels like marketing-speak. It seems like you could say the same thing about both, no? All-terrain Kahn vrs trail Sultan 27.5+ - kinda the same thing. Maybe it's just a matter of degrees of difference.

I am in the market for a FS Fatbike and have already gone through a couple of FR fat frames and it feels like it's only when I look at the Kahn as a year round CO (snow) bike that it separates itself from the Sultan 27.5+. Something DT has made an effort to not categorize the Kahn as...

I think it would look perfect in my garage with a Manitou Mattoc, DB inline and WTB i25 rims. My superfancy wheel budget has gone to keeping the 11 year old in downhill gear.

Well crap. Just saw the Cyclosis. Hits all the marks: disc plus 43mm tire clearance, and panels. Love panels.

I've had it for a little over a year. Awesome bike, love it. People always talk about 1 bike to do it all but I really did end up selling 2 other bikes (160mm and 125mm) after owning the Burner for a while. It does everything I need it to do well, from 50 mile rides to the occasion lift assisted downhill run.

I think the new shorter seat tube and bigger headtube are good additions. I've got my adjustable post as low as it will go in the frame so more adjustment would be nice, the bigger headtube should allow zero stack headsets so you can lower the fork. Nice improvements. That green Sultan with the fat tires looks sick too.
