    creaking in 5spot seat tube

i have creaking in my 5 spot seat tube when i sit on the seat and ride, i know it's the seat cause it doesn't happen when i'm standing. i got the bike in november and it's only been on 4 rides, including today. it's a wtb saddle with thompson seatpost. what do you guys think is the cause and how can i stop it. i hate that noise. thanks guys

remove the seatpost, remove the seat and take it all apart. clean everything, put them back together with plenty of grease, put some grease in the seat tube, insert the post. Make sure not to forget to clean & grease the quick release/clamp. See if that solves it.

    Grease the seat rails too.
Faster is better, even when it's not.

    Go for a quality seatpost

I had the same problem with a new bike. I changed the low quality one supplied with the bike for a Thompson and the probrem was solved. Try with a quality post.
