    Co Springs ride stoke

A few of us got together last weekend for a fun ride north of the Springs, the crazy rigid 29er SS'ers were in attendance, the Burner got to come out and play for this ride.

Yeah, usually it's iffy, especially on a trail like this one cause a lot of it's in the trees where the snow never goes away, we've had zero snow this month, we got pounded last month though with around 30", it's been dry for a month now.

Nice shots Rick. The recent warm weather has been nice although things look like they're gonna change tomorrow.

On the up-side, Vail got 7" this morning and it hasn't stopped.

    Rick:

    F Yeah, dude!!

Your trails look like big fun! The chunk factor looks good.

How does your bud like his H-bar?

Post up some ride pics more often, por favor.

He likes them, I got to ride his rig and they are comfy, wouldn't mind running them on my crosser actually.

I wasn't in attendance for the ride but checkout this thread of Palmer Park, this is the place I was telling you and Denny about, you guys would love it.

    RR,

Does Palmer stay dry during the winter?

There's a chance I could make it down there next weekend, Dec 9-10, if you're available.

Yes, but it just depends on the timing, we will probably get 4-8" tomm but if it stays dry afterwards then it should be good, if the cond's are good I'm up for a Palmer romp for sure, Kman is usually up for a Sun ride too. Tell Larry he has to come down too.

    OK
But don't forget your sister. I'll post/PM as the day gets closer.

And while we're on the topic, I got my hands on Breckenridge Brewery's Vanilla Porter this weekend. Amazing !!!!! Be sure to check it out.

I won't. She will want to bring her friend with her; the two are inseparable. Here's a pic of them, my sister is the one on the right.

Nice sister Rene, if you bring her then I might be too busy to ride with you guys though, especially if her friend is there!

I think were gonna end up with a dump here, plus it's gonna be cold thru the weekend so hopefully the snow is gone by next weekend.

BTW, I finally got ahold of some Czar-YUMMY! Squeaker- I love Breck's vanilla porter, great beer.

Yup. No riding here either. 3" on the ground in Loveland with an undersurface of ice & forecast calls for "artic temps."

On the other hand, Vail has 16" over the past 2 days, its still coming down, and I have a 3 day weekend coming up !!!!!!!!!!

BTW, remember back when when I said I wasn'r sure if I liked this years version of the Czar?
I changed my mind. I like it just fine. I don't know if my expectation shifted, or if the first few bottles were a little different, or if I'm just daft.

That's the Mt Herman area north of the Springs, around Monument, none of the trails are mapped, it's just an open space area. Your not gonna find most of the good stuff without someone in the know so let me know when your down this way again and we can show you around. Have you ridden in the canyon? It's got some good stuff too.

Thanks for the offer, I will take you up on that.

I have not ridden anywhere but palmer and captain jack's. I can ride to PP in 15 minutes from my parent's house where we normally stay.
