    Check Out the Turner Website

I just received their Newsletter. If you are in the market for a new bike there are nice deals on complete bikes.

And no I do not work at Turner just sharing info.

I picked up a demo for slightly less than new prices and ironing out a few kinks - love the bike, but might have gone "new" for about $500 more on a Lg Flux XT build had I known. Fantastic deals. I really, really, really love this bike.

Did anyone get a bike during the sale? If so, did you pay tax and shipping? I thought tax and shipping was included like the ad stated.

I'm pretty disappointed with this. I called to purchase a bike today based on the posted sale price and they did not honor it. Jared told me it was a mistake and that it was only posted on the website for one day, but I know based on this thread but it was up for at least a week.

Thats pretty shady. It was advertised as ending on Nov 10. Even their FB page shared the "sale" today.

He said it was a mistake, which is fine everyone makes mistakes. What bothered me as he said it was only up for a day when we all know what was up for a lot longer than that.

If you make a mistake just own up to it.

It was a mistake to put "no sales tax" in the ad... but after talking with Jarett and Tom, we will honor it thru Monday for California residents when buying a bike from us. Of course we don't have to charge riders buying a new bike, out of state sales tax.

I had the Booo ad taken down the other day because Halloween is over, not due to the misprint, and the sale prices are still on the store menu, the sale was not shortened. My request to the web guy was change it to 'Fall Sale' but he is in Mammoth for the week and could only pull the whole Booo ad using his phone..

Thnx. Between tax and shipping it was a $400-$500 difference.

    I just emailed Jarett.

Just a quick note, I called Turner Bikes the other day with some questions about replacing worn bushings. Turned into a 45 minute conversation with Dave Turner, about bushings, Rockshox vs Fox, Monarch plus rear shocks, dialing in fit adjustments with stem length, new Rockshox upside down fork, Fun Bolted 135 rear ends vs 142mm, etc. Turned out I was talking to Dave Turner, and didn't know it, it was just a really informative phone conversation, and I learned a ton. Awesome random topics, and really great bike geek time. Nice to know a bike company owner cares.

I wish I had been checking out the Turner forum more often. I've been waiting for a sale to get the new Flux. Next time, I guess. Edit: For some reason I can't login to the store.

so what was the total nut, for a sultan xt build complete?

I just grabbed a Flux frame the other day and still got the sale price. Couldn't pass up the deal. Now just to build it up.

The sale is still up on the website. $1657 for a raw flux or burner frame. Not part of the sale, but a brand new option is the $200 upgrade for CCDB inline and $300 upgrade for CCDB Air on the burner

Did you go for the DB Inline upgrade? Or was that with shipping and tax?

Didn't go for the DB Inline. The raw frames are cheaper than the ano frames. There was no tax. Just shipping and the frame cost.

Apparently the DB inline went up online a bit too early, at least for the Burner. I heard that The DB still had a bit too much compression damping so Cane Creek is working on a new tune. A new Burner is coming my way and I couldn't get the DB inline with it, but I'm sure I'll be happy with the Fox as it has the proper tune.

Just pulled the trigger on a Sultan frame, DBInline shock, a CC 110 headset, and a Pike.

The price was too good to resist, so now I'm looking forward to getting back on a Sultan.
