Bringin in your Birthday with a Bang!

    Some ppl have hang out,
Some ppl go out and party,
Some ppl go out and ride...

Some ppl put it all on the schedule.

    TK Loaded for Bear:

    BZ Guards the Booty:

Scant few action shots, too bad b/c the truly killer stuff ain't on film (buy maybe on video)

    Lou slaying it everywhere:

BZ testing out his new thirty inch pipe:

The real players played hard, real hard.

    Tree:1 Rider:0

Fatty would not let some stupid wood mess with his brah, so he went out to avenge him...
    Tree:2 Rider:0

Now imagine if he wasn't wearing a FFH.

Actually it was a different tree but WTF they're all related.
Fatty got less pretty as the day went on (as if that were possible)

and even though he looked like George Forman hit him with one of his grills, Fatty still owned his hard-as-hell backyard skinny park...multiple times.

    You Gotta love the shirt:

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEE!
    You and TK heal up!

Tnx to Bean for the pictures...and forthcoming vids.

i got that it was bee's day but the "pipe" reference is lost on me.

on a semi related note, candycorn and i just started to look at new houses. dreams of a small practice skinny line and a tiny gap out back are runnin through my head. guess where i got the idea?

Nice recap BZ. Thanks for the birthday wishes. My wife wasn't to happy when I got home but these things happen... And for some reason everyone at work keeps asking me what happened to my eye? You would think by now they should just assume I was having fun in the woods . All is good - eye looks terrible but heading out today to shake it off

    great photos!
    good fun and carnage.
Interesting that someone I know had a similar incident yesterday with fullface on and is sporting the same wound. Was his tree horizontal or vertical?
Same b-day party plans here for this friday but using chairlift instead.

I didn't see the tree but I'd expect it was vertical before and horizontal after.

That was one of the most physically challenging days in recent memory. The one-and-only shuttle only gets us halfway. Then it's a long arsed fire road climb & push on a 40lb bike. Even in the woods it was hell-hot. Full body armor, 85+degs 60%+ humididity, zero breeze. 3hrs trundling through the woods in that heat.

Just sessioning a feature you'd have to climb back up and spend 10 mins catching your breath for every 3 minuet push.

It was all earned, no doubt.

airmailer to wall ride to wall gap - landed wall gap perfect all was going great then went to pedal and chain was sucked up in front chainring. veered right and was heading straight for BIG tree and my better option was to lay it down - unfortunately face hit the ground first.

Sadistic freakin trail. Everything has a gap, even the entrance and exit of the wall ride.

Couldn't agree more. The extra width of the Cromags really helps with bike control, even on the slow techy stuff.

    Spendy though..!

Great pics Zilla - I like how you always show the post ride beer/bbq at the end of your posts. It's important to consume the necessary amounts of protein and carbs for proper recovery.
