Biking the Copper Canyon on TV

For those of you that have HDTV, check out "Airtime - Tres Amigos" on InHD. Just watched it, and it made me want to get out on my bike NOW.

Really cool show about biking Copper Canyon in Mexico. For more info on it, check out here!!!

Saw the last 30 min of it on Sunday. Some great riding and scenery.

I was equally impressed with the local kids that kept up on foot with the riders heading downhill.

Kinda puts things in perspective....when you think you are flying downhill, you never know when a kid is going to out run you on foot.

I did a few days of riding there in 1994, took a rigid bike with cantilever brakes. As you can imagine there was tons of climbing and TONS of descending (not very nice on a rigid bike). We left Creel (close to 8,000 feet) and ended up in Urique (maybe 1,800 feet).

I have to go back one day, I would love to try it out on my Flux!
