Jaybo's synopsis is spot on in its distillation of the Burner review. Also cited are the geo changes moving from prototypes to production. Their final word: "Buy it if you want a crisp-pedaling trail bike that excels on almost every type of terrain."
Much more complete reviews have been posted on MTBR and other websites, so no one who has been interested enough to read what has already been published need feel they'll miss something important by not reading the Bicycling mag review. OTOH a quick trip to a news stand or LBS where the mag is sold, followed by about 37 seconds of quick reading will also suit.
Norco Sight,, intense 275, RM Altitude 750, Scott Genius 700 sl were also tested. I still have no power due to Sandy so no scanner but basically bicycling liked all of the frames/bikes they tested. Wasn't really a shoot out just an informational piece. All but the Scott seemed to be designed for similar applications. Having owned six Turner frames and been off one for over 2 years I am likely going to try the new Burner.
