Belated N GA Turner ride report

Sorry it has taken a little while but I've been working LOTS this week!
Here's the trip report from the "Turner" outing this past weekend. The "" are there because we had:
3 Turners - Me (XR Burner), D-Rock (XR Burner), and mudpie (5-Spot)
    LoneStar - Ventana Pantera
    John - Intense EVP 5.5
David - Giant Ranier (and some mad skills)
We started out early Sunday morning at Bull Mountain and it was still pretty cold out. Since the trail goes straight up we knew we'd warm up soon enough!

The climb goes up for a few miles and has some really nice singletrack

We took a couple breaks - uh, photo ops - here and there

Took a snapshot at the rusty truck with everybody's cameras

    mudpie's 5-Spot is a wheelie machine!

After Bear Hair John sees how his Intense flies

And D-Rock shows off some blood. The wreck was impressive!

After the bomb down mudpie wheelies some more. 'Cause it's fun!

We split up for a while and with the combination of LostStar (aka Scout) and D-Rock's GPS we rode some extra distance...

Through some bizzare fluke the two groups met up again. We rode through some nice scenery...

Then hit the parking lot for some well-earned beverages (thanks D-Rock)

A great time was had by all.
Except SSinGA who was at home sick :P
(Told ya I'd do that! Hope you can make it next time 8) )
    Big hoopy.

It's not looking good for me...the wife went to get my 5yr old from school early today because he had a 101 fever 4-5 days from now and I'll have what ever he brought home from school again.
    Nothing to see here.

I want to know how Mudpie was smiling on the climb! There wasn't too much 'fun' about that first two miles or so! It was indeed a great time. No real mechanicals, other than Mudpie's pesky flat tire, one good crash so we'd at least have one story to tell our spouses, and did we mention the weather was spectacular? Yes indeed, this is what mountain biking is all about.
