Hey thanks! Unfortunately they are sold. Come on!! There's gotta be some people out there that has upgraded to disk brakes. I'm willing to pay premium for them..

    Also interested

I'm also interested in buying a used set. I called Turner yesterday (5/19) and Dave said they might have their machinist make a new batch depending on demand but probably not. Thanks: pwhitin2@surewest.net

I was the one who got the ebay set.I now have them plus the new set I got from Turner(possibly the last ones I suppose)shortly before the ebay one's went up for sale.I only need one set so if anyone wants to pay what I did from Turner ($50+$7 shipping)I would be willing to sell them.Otherwise,I was going to trade them back to Turner for something else.

    just curious...

but why use V-brakes on your Turner. I can't imagine cost is the issue.

have your ridden Disks yet? Man, i can say weight being one issue, but the XTR Disks and Hope minis aren't much heavier then V's and they make a HUGE difference.

    Why V-brakes?

Lambone. The reason I would like to do it is that I'm transfering most of the parts to my Burner frame from my old bike. I could buy a set of Avid Mechanical brakes and a set of heavy Mavic Crossland wheels for around $340 total. Or I could buy a set of light weight wheels and Hope Mini or Margura Marta SL brakes for approximately $750. For now I'd like to stick with my light weight, old Precision Billet brakes and lever's for around $50 and upgrade later.

    I need one set

    Hi all,

Does anyone have switched to disc brakes and have a set of v-brakes *bosses* available? Please PM me as my wife needs a set since she's transfering all her old bike parts to her new Burner frame.

    Thanks.
