I thought these would have been shipping by now... Whats the word on the street?

I wrote them a little while ago and didn't get a reply.

I can't tell you much about it other then I suspect it'll be lighter with maybe some new options on how it drops/rises. The big thing is that they appeared to have done away with the large size boxy bit that was in front of the post, replacing it with a more direct connection.

All I know it that the folks at Yuba Expeditions up in D'ville were testing it and loving it...

"Supercharged" is lame; I've got a chilled nitrous oxide cannister in my waterbottle cage.

Apparently they had it at IB:

The OP said something about it no longer requires you to tap the seat for a release to rise. You just unweight the seat and push the lever and it pops right up or is unlocked for you to push it down. Basically they did away with the fail-safe for those who don't need the extra step to avoid accidental operation.

I believe Tscheezy has McGuyver'ed his own version.

This holiday season, the GD folks are also going to be releasing a Gravity Dropper Stem, that is integrated via a cable/handlever to the Gravity Dropper Seatpost, so one can operate the seat dropper and the stem dropper at the flick of a switch - simultaneously!

Kinda like the Trek Fuels that have the front and rear lockouts linked w/ a hand operated lever.....

    should be pretty cool!
