New question here. 6" fork on 5 Spot??? 1.5 steerer??

Will this just totally mess up the geometry? Proably, huh...

A friend has an '03 Sheman Breakout 152mm brand new in box that he'll sell to me for cheap. The 1.5 steerer will not fit on my current frame, but I hope to get a Spot by next spring. Just an idea.

Will the 1.5 steerer fit the 5 Spot?

    consider an rfx

The 5 spot is pretty sweet with 5 in front, and it doesn't have a 1.5 head tube. The
rfx has 6 in back. My buddy has one set up with 6 in front and it's awesome. It is
about 2 lbs heavier than the 5 spot. This ebay item claims that the rfx in the auction
    has a 1.5 head tube.

whoops, sorry dude, that link is gone....maybe it's done already....

No, the 5 Spot does not (and will almost surely) never have a 1.5 headtube. The new Turner highline does though.

There are some Turner prototypes floating around that do have a 1.5 headtube (route 66, lucky 7's, etc).

Indeed. A rare bike and great opportunity. Shame his digital camera went on the fritz, I've been curious about the black area on the BB.
Faster is better, even when it's not.
