See what you're getting at, but not so sure. Called Jarret today on a whim, looking for some demo rigs for 6 guys while visiting SD in a couple of weeks. Dood literally takes half a click and says, "sure no problem, we can send you out with a coupla DWL Spots, Sultans, Fluxes if you'll just give us a heads up". That's the strongest close I've ever heard of. I'm toast.

Somehow, I don't think the new Scott blonde wench, er, I mean wrench, has either the goods or the overabundant generosity.

C'mon dude, you're slacking! If there is ever a reason for switching to Scott bikes, it is because a certain Aussie rides for them

I'd prefer service over a someone who looks great in pics, perhaps using myspace voodoo. I think some bike companies still don't get it that while most mtbers are hard up for sex, they still look sometimes for the truth behind a company, not a facade. With Scott's pricing policies in question already, I don't think this can help them to bleed some money on already overpriced, questionably performing products.

As far as Turner goes, I've had questions on holiday weekends, when DT was out with his family, and the guy answered them. WTF. I was amazed when I got an answer on some big one, like July 4th weekend and his response was "just putting out the fires before Gregg comes back to the office". Then on Monday, I figured I'd give them a 30 minute warm up time and not call the moment they opened. DT started emailing me about calling him and how they're waiting on me like 5 minutes after opening time. Really good guys over there and always a first choice.

Send them Junior's cheesecake once in a while. Those guys love cheesecake.

    Two points, CC:

    1. When somebody gravitates from motocross to mtb, it often signals a significant increase in age. Do you know if those photos are anywhere current?

    2. You left the apostrophe out of "here's" in your original post. You have shamed the grammar pride of Homers the world around!

there was none better than uncle ottos, what i think was a small maker back in sf when i was a kid. made these other designer places look like sara lee. i used to get their little individual tins at a deli next door to the lbs in san jose while i was in high school and when the party started, they were there with the full sized cakes too. alas, theyre gone. i hear about 20 years ago. ive had alotta good and bad cheesecake before and since but nuthin compares to uncle ottos. its sad really. man, i swear i still remember the taste.

accross the street was the best home made bagles ever too.
