    5 Spot vs. Slayer

I have a Rocky Mountain Element TO and am looking for a new frame, because I want more travel. The Slayer is a nice option that will probably ride similar to the Element, but how does the 5 Spot compare?

The 5 spot is a little lighter if you run it with an air shock, or a little heavier, if you use the Romic. Not a big difference.

They're both 4-bar suspensions. The 5 Spot is a Horst lInk, the Slayer is a seat stay link. I prefer the Horst.....your mileage may vary.

Depending on the size, the head angles may or may not be the same. The slayer HA varies from 69 to 70 depending on frame size. The Spot is 69*

The 5 Spot is a superior bike, but it's also more expensive. The zirc/bushing setup on the Turner is better than the bushings on the Rocky.
