5 Spot Vertical Path (not what you think)

In the wake of the whole TNT scandal we forgot that vertical paths should be measured in feet, not inches... (I'm sporting my homer jersey as well).
On a more somber note the second photo is of my intense buddy who (with your help) almost converted to a 6 Pack, enjoying his new Uzi... It was a good fight but we lost (sniff). That said, I have to admit it's a damn nice bike.

The more I look at these pics of folks getting bigger and bigger bikes, the more I think that's why they are getting them. Nothing says "hey lookie, I got the squishy" like a big abrupt landing.

Here's a few random ones of me on my classic spot (from one of the first batches ever made). Still going strong.

Until now he was riding a 5.5 and we debated the "trail riding vs. big hitting" point extensively. Obviously, from his new bike choice, the big hitting bug bit him big.

hard to believe that "vintage" in biking reflects 2 year old stuff....doesnt seem right.
