Thank you sir!!! I added a bashguard to her and now she is perfect!!! I know everybody is jumping on the 27.5 train, but my Spot still puts a huge smile on my face everytime I open my garage. I wouldn't trade her for the world

Update on the 1x w/ Wolftooth stuff.

Got in 2 rides. Shifting is excellent. Shifts like I just put on a new cogset, chain and chainring [which I did]. For me, the only spot that takes like a millisecond longer is in that spot where I took out the 17t cog. Otherwise its awesome.

So nice to just grab a fist full of gears on the rear to get down to the gear you need instead of fiddling with a front der and hoping the chain doesn't pop off!

Still have to take it out on something I'd consider rough to test out chain retention. But so far so good!
Biker? I don't even know her.

    5 Spot Photo Thread [o]

A little 2012 Spot action between storms and while I await delivery of my Czar frame. I anticipate the Spot getting a bit more garage time once the Czar is built up, but will still be my go-to rad/gnar sled :-)

Had it lowered from 170 - 160. Love the stiffness and the compression adjustments.

I really wanted to go for a Pike but I'm limited by the 1 1/8 head tube so had to go with the Lyrik.

I know that feeling, seems like yesterday I bought my 'dream bike' 5spot, now the geometry, head tube and even the wheel size is old technology! Still a great bike though.

Same here. But every time I ride the Spot, the itch to upgrade just goes away. It really still is a damn good bike.

Now I'm thinking how many banks I need to rob to afford Enve AM wheels. Haha

    5 Spot at Knoya Pass-

Tikishla peak in the Chugach front range. 4000 ft ride/push up, and a fast free ride to single track descent. Weather could always be better.

Just put my CCDBAir shock on my Spot, and let me tell you, IT IS AMAZING!!!!!

FYI, I tried mounting both ways, and having the piggyback on the bottom is DEFINITELY the way to mount. Having the can on the bottom hits the frame and doesn't allow for full travel. You can see how it looks a bit off in the first pic.

Thank you!!! I used the base tune from CC and it feels spot on. I may up the LSC since the CS lever is tough to get to, and I will most likely not use it.

Without knowing the person dimensions, I don't think you can tell if the stem is too long or too short..
