    lower crown? Why not just remove a spacer or two? If now, Hopes integrated crown/stem might be the way to go.

    The lower crown bolts hit the frame, with the flush lower headset cup in there. There's another thread with the issue explained further here somewhere.

    Labor Day Special

    Just finished getting mine built up.

    Medium DHR - 2014
    Shock - CCDB-Air (direct from Turner)
    Fork - DVO Emerald
    Drivetrain - Saint 10 speed with CSIXX guide
    Brakes - Hope M4 203mm F & R
    Chromag 35MM BZA bars and direct mount stem
    Wheels - Currently Crank Brothers sage (but will likely swap out for I-9 Gravity (really like the green option but may have too much green) or Easton Havoc)
    Tires - Continental Der Kaiser Projekt 2.4

    Weight currently 38.5lbs...

    Now just have to wait for summer.

    Did you have to do any mods to fit the cc shock?

    No modifications required. I actually had a CCDB-Air coming off a Santa Cruz driver 8 that was 1/4 inch too short for the DHR which I sent it to Turner to use as a test to see if it would clear before ordering (It gave them enough confidence to move forward). They then confirmed the fit once the correct shock came it.

    Fits well but not a ton of clearance... and I noticed Turner now has the CCDB-A listed as on option on their website for the DHR.

    No longer the cheapest DHR build. =( Well, still one of the cheapest. LOL!

    Replaced the fork a little over a month ago (from a black 09 Boxxer RC to a 2011 white WC). Then I tacoed my rim a couple of weeks ago and decided to do a white-out conversion. Here's the relative sequence of work (from the beginning of this year when I bought the frame) to its current state:

    Thanks man. That's not anodized black. The previous owner spray painted it flat black (multiple coats) to hide the beat up original powder coated green. It took a LOT of effort to remove all the layers of paint. There's actually some little bits left on the crannies. Lol

    Here is my (not so any more) budget build - the only pink cranks DHR around. I had to replace a 2009 Boxxer WC with the 888CR in the middle of the last season because in one (not so) mighty crash, its lowers got badly twisted.
