DT - I understand your dilema - make the new RFX light and agile like the 2008 or make in burley like the Highline.
It's tough. My thoughts are you should err on the side of burley - but make the headtube angle adjustable somehow so I can get the bike to be somewhat dual purpose.
Offer two different swingarms/rear drop outs so people have choices of through axle or QR.
Tone down the CNC if it'll save costs.
Keep it made is USA. Keep it aluminum.
