2010 dw Sultan vs 2012 Sultan?

im looking at buying a Sultan in the next week. Ive found a 2010 barely used dw sultan frame for $1000. Am i missing out on anything by not buying a 2012?
    thanks

Thru-Axle rear end. Burrito seat-tube gusset. Shaped down tube for piggyback shock. Perhaps a slight geometry tweak (not sure about that one).

Pretty sure the 2010 Sultan only had a 1 1/8" headtube, which matters if you want to run a newer tapered fork

2010 had a 70.5 HTA, 2011 is a little slacker at 69.5. Also, the effective top tube is shorter on the 2011 (probably due to the slacker HTA). On the XL it was 25.3 for 2010, 24.5 for 2011.

Turner bikes used to have geo and specs for prior years on their website, so you might check to see if that is still there. I guess the 2011 is a little more trail oriented than the 2010, but you could still handle the rough stuff on either bike.

depending on when it was made I think the early 2010's did not have the seat tube gusset below the shock...
