120mm fork trail machine- flux or 5Spot?

Wondering what my next bike could be...my 2004 Ventana X5 has been great in the rough and rocky northeast but after a move to the flat lands of Berlin it seems a little on the slack and sluggish side with highish bb and short tt. I am 168lbs (inc. gear), and mildly abusive so a 5"ish classic heavy dutyXC / light AM bike w. 70-69 HA and low BB height seems to be the ticket; I am 165lbs (inc. gear) and tossed between a Flux, 5Spot (and possibly a custom El Salt).
So given a Fox F120, would you opt for a Flux or a 5 Spot?
    Thanks!

given your fork travel and your new playground the Flux would be better suited for the job. If you were to put that 120 on the spot, it would be very underforked. I have 140 on the front of my spot and I could use a 150 or 160. The flux would work perfectly with that 120 and would fly on the flatter terrain
    Too wet to ride!

flux with a PUSH'ed monarch rt3/enduro needle bearings on the top eyelet.
Civilization ends at the waterline. Beyond that, we all enter the food chain, and not always right at the top.
