Wide rims for the Trek Superfly 100 AL pro

Has anyone changed out their rims / wheels to a wider set?
I want more volume, and the thick tires doesnt have that good stability with the narrow original rims.

Im looking at rims in the area of 35mm in combination with 2.4" wheels.
Is it enough clearance at the front and rear?
    thanks

Yes, P-35's with Ardent 2.4's on a Hi Fi Pro (same frame) rear is all good, while the Reba is real tight.

That looks awesome. P35 is the same as blunt 35, right? Did you change the rims, buy a complete set or build them yourself? If so, what are the components?

Yes P-35 = Blunt 35. Built them using XT-785 hubs, Wheelsmith db spokes, DT alloy nips and ice-tech rotors. (avoid the XT rear hub, mine exploded on it's 8th ride) ... now running a DMR 6 pawl.
