What chain to run on trek fuel ex 8

    It's a 3x10 shimano slx, can I run Any shimano 10 speed?

In theory, probably, but it will shift best with a Shimano SG-X 10 speed chain, installed correctly (writing on the outside).

Edit: It looks like they've dropped the X designation, but basically, the mtb chains are specific to the mtb cassettes.

Worked at Trek/Fisher dealer 2008-2013. Only a little biased.

Doh. I meant to say HG-X. It just means you have exactly what I'm talking about.

I've been running KMC X10SL for over a year now, no problems whatsoever. I have a 3x10 XT, not SLX, but that shouldn't matter.
