I know they're a bit old & most likely nobody here has 'em anymore, but I still have my old warhorse '99 VRX300 and the stock Vanilla R finally gave up the ghost. I already contacted PUSH Ind. to see if they'd be able to rebuild it, but no dice. So, I'm just wondering if anybody here has replaced the rear shock on a VRX? I'm trying to keep it on the cheap as I simply cannot justify dumping a bunch of money into this bike, but I don't have the funds right now to just buy a new bike. I did find some NOS Vanilla RC's for a good price (I believe they're '00 or maybe '99 models; correct size 6.5" x 1.5"), but I don't know if that would be worth it or not. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance...
