    Trek Fuel - Shock Pump

I recently purchased an '07 Trek Fuel EX 8.
The valve on the shock is so close to the pivot for the rear suspension that I can not fit the shock pump on it.
All of the shock pumps that I've looked at seem to have the same valve adapter.
    Has anyone experienced this?
Does anyone know of a pump or adapter that will work for me.

here is the pump that I have

    Thanks
    Chris

No, the shock is installed correctly - it just barely doesn't fit.
I can post a pic later on.

Odd, never had a problem with the Fox shock pump fitting. Did you ask your lbs about it yet? They should have helped you tune it up and had a pump on it.

If you bought the bike at a Trek Dealer a Wrench Force shock pump comes with the bike.

Yep, I found that out after I did not get one with my bike, I went back, and they gave me one.

Yup, I got one of those Wrench Force pumps, too with my Fuel 70 back in '05. I replaced the original (and virtually useless) Rock Shox Bar with the Cane Creek Cloud 9. What a difference! The clearance with the pump is still tight, but it is much better with the Cloud 9.

I also replaced the Axel Comp with a Skareb, put on tubless tires and upgraded the derailleurs to XT. It's one heck of a bike now.

Thanks for all your input -
I have a friend that works at Trek he said that the EX8 doesn't come with a shock pump in '07.
    Oh well.
I found a pump that works great.
