    Trek Fuel EX 9 2011

    Hello all.
I have a Trek Fuel EX 9 from 2011 that I would like to go sram xx1 with.

Is it possible to use an adapter like this one and use my existing wheels?:

DT, Sram XD 11s body för Sram XX1 kassett, 142x12 mm Thru Axle

What about the bottom bracket? I know Trek has their special version.

Yes, you should be able to use an XD driver adaptor to make your DT swiss hubs compatible with the XX1 cassette. I'm not 100 percent sure, since I don't have dt swiss hubs myself and am not sure if there are different versions of them, but you'll be able to find out by calling a bike shop and letting them know what model hubs you have. I do know however, that they make an adaptor for DT hubs currently. I just set up a 2012 EX 9.9 with 1x11 and had to convert my American Classic hubs as well. The EX frame required a Madone bottom bracket kit to work with the GXP XX1 crankset that I purchased. I am not sure if the bottom bracket for your 2011 aluminum framed EX is the same as my bike, however. I hope some of this helps, but it may have just created more questions for you.
