    Trek 8000 SLR (year 1999 -2000)

    Hi,

I have a Trek 8000 SLR (year 1999 -2000) with the 22mm direct Hayes disk brake mount (on the chainstay) , but all brakes are IS mount these days. I've looked long and hard for some to fit my bike, but no luck. Hayes have stopped making them too.

Does anyone have any they are selling/getting rid of?

    Thanks

I know for a fact that BTI has the Hayes 22mm adapter in stock.

This is what you want, right?

    brake

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately, no, my chainstay mount cannot use the adapter because the disk will not clear the frame. What I need is a Hayes 22mm Direct Mount caliper which would fit straight on the frame with no need to change anything.... so the brake the bike was designed for I guess. But Hayes haven't made these brakes for a while, which is why I was hoping someone might have one or know of somewhere which stocks them.

    Thanks
