    Trek 3500 Fork Upgrades

I was just wondering if anyone has upgraded their trek 3500 fork? Im trying to get a new one for mine but I don't know how much steerer tube length i need! (Currently looking at a raidon w/ 17.5cm ) Has anyone switched theirs out? How much do you need/ how much did the stock one have?

    (Edit: its a 2012 Trek 3500 Disc 18.5" Frame)

    6.89" for the Raidon.
This must be less than your current fork. What is it's lehgth?
You can go with a little more than half of the stem interior contacting the upper part of the fork, in my personal experience. It is a personal call.
You may be able to get a different headset to lessen the steerer tube length requirement. Eliminating spacers under the stem helps. A riser set of bars can then reset the grip height.
