PURE AWESOMENESS! Curious about your drivetrain as well. How is the 12-36? with the 32t? I heard mixed reviews. Any weight posting? LOL, i was debating between the marlin when i got my mamba. I am glad that someone picked it up and made it a monster.

The 32t chainring and 12-36t cassette to me is the ideal gearing for the trails I ride. I mostly stay in the 34t of the cassette when climbing and only drop into the 36t when things get grunting steep.

as for the weight, got it weighed in at the lbs when getting wheels checked for spoke tension. came in at 24.8lbs as pictured.

You might fit better on a 19". I'm 6'1 and I have a 19". Saw a guy on my local trail on a 21" mamba and he was only 6 foot even and he was stretched out like crazy, he obviously bought the wrong size and figured it out when I let him take a spin on my bike.

He finally realized why he had such lower back pain after riding out on the trails.

seriously we all can pitch in about our height and frame size but, in the end we can't fit you over the internet. If your dealer offers bike fitting I would highly suggest you pay for the fitting and get the proper size and fit.

you may be right, I was measured up for the bike by LBS, now the seat is fully forward I find it perfectly comfortable, was thinking of asking LBS if I can trial a shorter bar mount to bring the handle bar 2 - 3cm closer and see how that feels

Nice. I am 5'10 and got a 17.5 frame. I have short legs, but a long torso. The standover is not the best, but the bike fits me well.

6' 2" and 19" frame. Fits me fine. I did a 113km ride on it on Sunday and got home feeling fine.

I felt much better on this than after the 130km ride I did on my Reign over Christmas. That killed me.

The picture you qouted is a superfly carbon and is a different beast than the aluminum your superfly is made of.

Carbon owners have different concerns than that of aluminum frame owners. Your question of durability and performance should he directed to other superfly AL owners or '11 paragon owners.

As for my GF Trek, its going strong with a ton of miles and havent had any faults. Love the geometry and feel.

I am fairly new mountain biking but bought my first bike in about 10 years and went with a Trek X-Cal. Pretty excited about getting back into the sport.

Are you turning the right direction? One pedal is clockwise and the other is counterclockwise.

Since you've already damaged it, I think the best option is to take it to a bike shop.
Worked at Trek/Fisher dealer 2008-2013. Only a little biased.
