Superfly 100 Elite - Shimano Deore XT vs Sram XX

I am an average rider who likes to change equipment up every once in a while. I have changed from full Shimano Deore XT components to full Sram XX with the exception of the front derailleur. I only have a few rides in with Sram XX. Besides the lighter weight and softer braking, is there anything else I should notice with the switch?

Do you actually prefer the xx?

I own both xt on my fuel and xx on my ellsworth.
I found the xx to be more mechanical, the shifting is crisp but does require alittle more effort to engage gears and the brakes on the xx are horrible..... Squeels alot and needs to me adjusted frequently

SRAM X0 is the only direct-mount, type 3 front derailleur available for that frame. It works fine. I ditched the XX brakes for Shimano XTR on my 2012 Superfly 100 Pro. The XX had horrible squeal, and often the levers went straight to the bars, on extended descents....scary as HELL. I feel so much safer with the XTR.

I was happy with Deore XT. Saw the higher end bikes with XX and thought the groupset to be better. I am disappointed with the brakes as they do squeel. I hope it can be adjusted.

I may have to consider your XTR suggestion. I appreciate your comments.
