Rhythm elite thru axle to quick release?

I'm looking to upgrade my '10 ex8 wheels to Rhythm Elite's I found from a 2013 Slash 9. I don't have a thru axle fork, but these wheels the thru axle hubs.

Is there a conversion kit, or can I not use these wheels? They are a great price, and if I can use them I don't want to pass on them.

Well this is disappointing. I kinda thought the Trek forum was the right place to ask this question. Guess no one wants to kick me some knowledge. Oh well, to the LB$ I go.

Those wheels are convertible to QR. You will just need to purchase endcaps from your local Trek dealer.

The rear is going to be 12x142 and you will have to convert it as well if you have the 10x135 QR rear frame. Check the cost of all the parts to convert and make sure it's still a good deal. I have those wheels and they do roll out nice.

It looks like $70 for all the parts. I got the wheels for $200. They have been used once by the previous owner, so I think I got a decent deal. My LBS said they are very nice wheels. I can't wait to ride them!

Yep...you got a good deal. The rear is a little noisy but as I said I do like them.

how did this work out for you? I have a set of the rxl wheels and the hubs look very similar to the ones on the rhythmns but Bontrager is telling me they aren't convertible. I'm curious if they really actually are convertible, the front axle has caps on it with wrench flats that look exactly like the dtswiss 240s oversize hub endcaps
