    Project One Pricing

I looked at the new offerings on the Project One site, and to get an aluminum Fuel EX built to EX9 specs, it goes over $6k. The bikes look awesome and it is nice to get whatver color you want, but it seems to pay an extra $1800 for only a color change is more than a little steep. It will be interesting to see how many people will pony up that premium, or whether they re-think the pricing structure.

Well, custom painting costs will be quite steep. You might get away with a computer controlled painting jig for the mass produced bikes.....the project 1 will have to be hand done from go to whoa. This also includes all consultations for precise colour matching.

Exclusivity costs my friend. That's the only reason.

I would only pay for project one if it were a top of the line bike.
