looks like your stem and front wheel arent aligned. Unless one arm is longer than the other, you should check that out.

If this works its my 2006 Trek Fuel EX 7 that I bought this year for $800. It had a total of 5 miles on it when I bought it. The guy bought it new, then had a kid and never rode it. Has a couple of upgrades like Chris King head set, carbon post, pedals, but nothing major yet.

    My 2008 Remedy 8...

After the Lyric was warrantied without ever being ridden, Trek sent me the 36 TALAS RC2, no questions asked. I also put on an Avalanche tuned DHX 4. It now has a KS I950R, Azonic Outlaws and Saint brakes... that's Truvativ Shiftguide chainguide as well.

You need to host them externally on a photo site like TinyPic. After you upload them there, they'll provide you with a link to embed them in message board. You can import them at just about any size.

This bike was part of a bunch that were pulled from a landfill several months ago. It was missing seat and post, wheels, and brakes. I finally got around to tearing it down and building it back up. My 10 year old daughter will take ownership of it this spring when she grows another inch or so.

I love it there. I'm still too green to hit the red trails, but the Epic route is fantastic.

You make a good point, Cutbert.

Next time I get a chance to camp there instead of driving down for the day, I'll give the red trails a spin.

Now, in the interest of staying on topic for the thread...

Not as "vintage" as the old Y bikes (I bought a Klein Pulse Comp the year Trek had the yellow Y-33s out... I was 16 (1996) and I remember drooling over the Y-33... or even the XTR decked out and gaudy Y-Five-Oh)... I replaced my Klein in 2001 with a Trek STP200 and still ride it today:

I have upgraded a few things along the way. Running vintage 1996 XTR V brakes, 00ish XTR shifter/lever combos, XTR rear dr, XT front dr, rebuilt RS Judy Race with black (heavy) springs in both legs and 15 weight oil, WTB seat and my latest changes were the EA50 riser bar to replace the OEM flat bar with my LP braids bar ends... the riser was nice to change to! Overall, it is a 22.6 pound bike (XL frame)... I don't think I can do much better than that.

This is my "comeback year" as I have been out of biking for quite some time... my goal is to lose 40 pounds by year's end and reward the loss with a new bike.... likely a Fuel EX

    My 2011 Trek 6000:

    My wife's 2010 Trek Skye S:

They were bought by our homeowner's insurance to replace my 2000 Trek 6000 and her 2006 Gary Fisher Tarpon which were heavily damaged when our house burned on July 24, 2010.
We haven't even ridden the new ones yet, but spring is just around the corner! I actually just joined tonight to ask some questions about repairing the damaged bikes.

It came with it. Trek has 2 models for the 2011 3700. The 3700 Disc and the regular 3700.

Thanks, Sabre. I wasn't sure how it would look with the red wheelset. Turned out nice.
