Do you swap tires or do you swap your wheels?
    BTW, smart choice considering

Yes I swap the commuting tires during the week and use the trail tires on the weekends. Eventually I will buy a FS bike for trails. Until then this hardtail will do it both so I don't want to throw too much money at it.

This is today on the way to the trail. Testing out the new Fork adjusting psi/rebound.

Haha yeah tell me about it I was originally topped out at 3 put money on a left over rem 8 , long story but the deal went bad, then was going to get 2016 rem 8 but shop couldn't get one until march. So instead loosing a valued customer they offered to order a 2016 rem 9 for the exact price as the 8 . There's a lot to the story to how we got to the point of them offering that deal but in the end I am blown away ...!!!!!

Here's my '16 Top Fuel 8. It's been a great bike so far and I'm looking forward to many more miles to come.

I've installed a few carbon cockpit bits and a 1x11 drivetrain.

The drivetrain has been great. I ride a lot of hills, so I went with a 28t chainring to preserve most of the low end of the range. I gave up less than one gear worth of range at the low end and two gears at the top (that I never used anyway). It gained me a much simplified driveline and over a pound of weight savings.

Added my 3rd Trek Mountain bike and 4th Trek bike to my garage, as well as my first fat bike.

    2014 Trek Farley:

Bought it brand new lol... First ride was definitely eye opening to how much traction these fat bikes have. Not a big fan of the Avid DB3 brakes, but I'll give them a few more rides before deciding to ditch them (I do have a set of Deore brakes just sitting around). I might throw a 180 rotor on up front tomorrow to see if that helps the balance some.

Well here she is!! Picked it up yesterday. Only downside is the weather here in North Texas is awful so haven't had a chance to ride it yet.

    Nothing flash atm.

Got some saint pedals and 5-10s, much better than old DCs and random heavy thick metal pedals.

And managed to find a stem and bars from a new EX9 for cheap.
750mm wide is way better compared to 690.

Dual lock on grips as well.

Looking to sell soon once the purchase of a Remedy happens, hopefully.

Did they give you and estimated date for delivery on the remedy? Considering the same. Heard it may be as late as April. Pretty annoying it's now 4 months since they released these bikes and no stock.

Im in Aus, and I believe mine should be in pretty soon.

When I put down an order (but forgot to follow up and finish/deposit) it was going to be 3-4 weeks. I think this must be the same bike.

So finally got rid of my specialized 07 epic comp and got myself a 2013 Trek Remedy 9! Only ridden it once, and I can tell you it is completely different from the epic, still trying to get used to it, but even with one ride trying to follow someone "stupid" fast it felt comfortable. Cant wait till I can dial it in!
