Got a Euro paint SuperFly AL in for a warranty replacement for a '08 GF Rig SS. Built it into a 3x3 and need a better fork, but seems sturdy for now

What kind of riding do you do with the slash? How's it climbing? Having trouble deciding amongst the slash 8 or remedy 9 29.

I'm a downhiller / jumper @ heart... so I prefer a slacker head angle, and the ability to drop off stuff. I love getting air, going off big ass rocks, and launching. I'm an old school "freerider". I ride anything from cross country to enduro to downhill. I do destination riding, as well as lots of trails in the region. I'm currently stuck in Oklahoma City, but we travel to ride. So it's fun.

Nothing better than being 10 miles from the nearest neighbor way up in the mountains for the weekend. 3x3 wasnt to shabby.

Love the motor cycle stand as a prop for the slash. BTW I have the same slash 8, and an Aprilia RSV1000. Got to use the stand for that...

1991 Trek 930 ~ originally purchased new in 91. Since this photo I've changed the seat out to a WTB and pedals to some cheap Wellgo magnesium flats. Also shown is my road bike 2014 Domane 2.0.

    My Treks

    Here are my Treks-
The first is a 2008 Trek SU 2.0, picked it up in a Craig's List ad with 3 other frames & misc parts. Came from a storage unit auction. Paid $40.00 for all 4 frames & parts. Most of the SU was there, missing handlebar, seat & post, break lever and front Caliper. Scrounged all the missing stuff and am now putting it together for my new road bike- I have been riding my old bike, a 94' Mongoose. Hope to soon be biking to work & back which would give me 22 miles plus each day.

Second bike is a project I have in mind for later this Spring. Its a 97" ZX6000. Got this in the same Craig's List ad. I plan on it becoming my "Here, hold my beer & watch this" off-road bike!

Sorry for the potato quality. I just picked this up from my lbs. I don't even know what the model is, I never bothered to ask and it's not on the frame. He said it was a track bike. I've got a 44x17 gearing freewheel and a 20 on the other side of the hub for when I'm feeling tired. I don't like treks road bikes in general but this thing is an absolute beast. Carbon front fork... not sure if that was stock or the shop owner put that on - he was the previous owner. Weighs in at 20 lbs (with areo bars and heavy spds). Not super super light but I have no complaints. I love it!
