    2012 SF100...19.5, and i need a 17.5 :-)

just got this frame and built it up quick....no rides yet, 21.8lbs w/o pedals. excuse the flats.

SunRingles were a steal at 350, XX groupo cost me big....skinnny 1.9's 29-0 for now. Really enjoy staring at this beauty.

Here's another shot, it's an R7, it eats rocks. It's actually 22-32T front rings, the bash guard is more useful on the trails than the 44T big ring.

    My new 2011 EX 9.7

I guess the guys at the trek store didnt notice the non-spec 2012 XT/XTR groupo and suspension exactly like the 2012 EX 9.8 on this bike as they gave it to me under 3 grand out the door

The chain guide (actually a tensioner) is a basic Blackspire Stinger:

    Thank you
Can you post a picture for each ring? It looks like it's only ment for one ring with that groove in the pulley

Made my fist ride today, so I can't really tell. Overall the bike is very close to full DH. Eats rocky sections, which were a pain with my XC full sus. And it pedals and climbs great too, as long as I stay seated. TST is not exactly lock out, but it helps. Only noticed that the rebound is pretty slow even if fully open. But TST also affects it, when fully open also the rebound at the beginning of stroke gets faster. For me the shock is a good compromise, since I'll be doing a lot of self shuttling

Excellent! Wish I would picked mine up for $120 but I'm still pretty pleased with my purchase. What disc brakes did you put on, where did you get them? I'd like to go that route but need to get new wheels first.

I am using the avid BB7's with 185mm rotors. with standard 51mm IS mounts front and rear. In the rear you will need a special mount from treck for the caliper. I bought the brakes off ebay.

You will also need a disk wheelset.

    Other things I upgraded:

    onexone shorter/ stronger stem
Azoninc ultra cross wide riser bars with 31.8 mm clamp dia.
    Avid speed dial levers
    New cables for everything
    Specialized S works tires
    Poly platform pedals
    planet bike gel seat
XTR front deraileur--- about to install

    Looking to upgrade:
Fork to Fox 80 or 100 mm
rear derailuer to XTR or XT / SLX
newer model fox rear shock with lock out option bc mine doesnt have it.

I may be spending a bit too much on this old bike but I like it and love riding something that is not as common since most people have moved on to the newer models.
