    Orange/Silver Trek 4300

I was at a bike shop today shopping for a 4300. When they looked at what they could order for me, they mentioned an orange and silver 4300. I can't find this color combo anywhere online. Does anyone know if that will be a new color for 2008? And if so, where could I find a pic of it?

Thanks! I love orange and it would definitely be my first choice of color!

I couldn't find it anywhere, but if you are looking make sure you check out the Trek 6000. I was debating between a 4300 disk and a 4500. The 6000 is a sweet step up and worth the extra money. (better front suspension over the 4500 and better front and rear Deore deraileurs.
The 6000 also comes in orange and black. That might help you a little.

    2008 Trek 4300 Disc

    Hey there,

I recently purchased a 2008 Trek 4300 Disc from BikeLine in Allentown, PA and I love it.

The color scheme is half silver and half slate, and with the all black tires, rims and handle bars, it looks very sharp.

Great bike for the price, I payed $500. And the 2008 has RST Gila 100mm, not 80mm like the 2007.

    Happy riding

    so jealous

Those color are incredible. I'm sooooo jealous, because I went ahead and ordered a yellow and charcoal one and now I'm thinking maybe I should have waited. Oh well, I've had the bike for a week, so too late now.

Thanks for all of your help!!

If the bike is clean and has no visible wear, you might be able to trade it for an orange one. I know of a case where the wrong size was purchased, and a swap was made weeks later.

In this example, the customer kept the lightly used pedals and wheels/tires, and put them on the unridden bike. That way, the bike they were giving back had fresh pedals and wheels/tires.

Thanks Thirdrawn for the pics of the 08 bikes. Is there some way I can access the 08 bikes directly?

I think the 6700 will be in only one color except that the WSD model will be different.

Thank you Thirdrawn. I was hoping for black or matte silver, but that will work. I will be ordering from my LBS on the 20th, when they get back from the Trek demo weekend.
