New 2013 Trek Marlin with Sis crank and front derailleur?!

I was about to purchase a new 2013 Trek Marlin and just noticed that the crank and front derailleur were Shimano SIS instead of Shimano Altus.

Anyone with the same experience? should I be worried about it? I'm thinking of not purchasing it unless they replace it with the right components.

I have a 2013 Marlin, and it probably has around 150 miles on it, one of the crank arm keep coming loose. I'm going to be locktiteing it tomorrow because it has become a real hassle. Looking at upgrading the crank already

Actually it is Altus spec, I have a '12 and came the same way. I looked up the parts and they match altus listings. SIS is the the name of the shifting design, now they have dynasys on the deore on up component lvls.

As for crank ARM, loctite the bolt, its just norm for square taper if not enough loctite was put on the bolt during assembly.
