Just bought a Trek Fuel Ex9 - any tips?

    Hey all

I'm now the proud owner of a brand new 2005 Fuel EX9. I found a deal too good to refuse.

Are there any tips from you guys I should know or things look out for with this particular bike?

I plan on using it as an all round trail/xc bike.

    Thanks in advance,

    HillBilly.

Keep an eye on tightening your linkage after the first 10-15 hours of riding. Other than that, browse the suspension threads, there is a great one on tuning that reba you've got. I've also got an EX9 and i'm loving it!

My only advice is to ride the daylights out of it! Best bike I've ever owned or ridden! I love it -can you tell?

    I got one too...

I friggin' love that bike, really light, handles well, components are top notch, the only small complaint I have is my recent tail bob development, but that may be fixed with some adjustments. You really got a good one, I'm gonna have mine for a LONG time!
