I need some input on what to do

Looking to upgrade from what I have now.
Current rig is a 2010 Top Fuel 8
    old style RXL wheels
    Thomson stem and seat post
    FSA Afterburner bars
    Ergon Grips
    Complete SLX 3x9 and brakes
    Continental tires
    Reba fork
    RP2 shock

Here's where I'm not sure what to do, should I upgrade to a 650B hard tail (Kona Explosif) or a Stache 8, or should I take off the fork and wheels, sell them and get a Fox 110mm with 15mm thru axle, and Crankbrothers Cobalt 3's? If I go the new fork and wheels route, I'd probably end up making it a 2x9, or 1x10, and send in the RP2 to Push to get rebuilt and with the big hit kit installed. Let me know what you think would be a good route to go.

P.S. The type of riding is XC/Trail. Don't race at all, just like to go out and have fun, like to hit the occasional jump or technical descents even though there aren't many around.

I wouldn't go 650 ht and I would recommend a different ht model even over a Stache 8.
At a Factory Demo in October I compared a Superfly 9.8 against a Stache 8 , FuelEx 9.8 and Remedy.
The carbon ht had great compliance, trail feel and lightness. The 9.6 is the same frame. A great fun bike with a broad usability range.
