    hydraulic brakes and Klein frames

I picked up a real clean Attitude but it has V-brakes and I want to go hydraulic disc. The frame has the old style 22mm? mounts which is fine as I have Hayes calipers for that. My question is the best way to run the lines. I would like to go internal thru the cable guides, has anyone done this? the frame has little aluminum looking "ferrules" in the frame guides, do these come out or would I have to drill them? I don't want to mess up the frame but I don't really want external hoses either..thanx for you help in advance

I'm pretty sure those guides are press-fit, and possibly glued/epoxied in place. I've had a couple loosen on me, so I doubt it would be too hard to remove.

Jam a sturdy rod into the guide, and try gently wiggling the sucker out. Failing that, I suppose you could just drill it out and enlarge the hole. Either way, it shouldnt be too difficult.
