99% sure that trek isn't going to 650B, It'll most likely be a long travel 29er, around 140mm carbon Etc... so a 29er Fuel EX is my guess...

Man, we shop rats are in the dark as much as the public is...

We have heard rumors of 650b, longer travel 29er, fatbike, etc...

Only thing I can think is 99% is a fullfloater Rumblefish, maybe even a carbon one(speculation, I still have no idea)

8 new models, 3 alu Fuels, 2 carbon Fuels, 3 alu Remedys. Nice. I have told there still some goodness before the end of the year, but I won't spoil the fun right now.

I hope that fun would be 180mm front-rear travel Slash with coil shock or even carbon frame for Slash!

Who will be the first to complain about chainstay length?

The Fuel EX has long been one of my favorite bikes (demo rides only), with the 29 wheels hopefully they will be even better. I have been wanting a RIP from Niner but would rather have a Trek. I think these new models have sealed the deal on removing the Gary Fisher name from Trek bikes altogether.

    :-(

The bikes will be probably fine though. I ride a '12 Rumblefish. No idea if the full floater will be better than likage on the Rumblefish.

Do you guys really think that the man himself, Gary Fisher, is somewhere right now crying in his cheerios? I doubt it. It's business. Love your old Gary Fisher, and/or Love your new Trek, smile and ride bikes! Cheezus.

I was just at LBS getting some details on the EX7 or EX8 (29ers). It looks like the EX7 does not have a rear 142x12 rear hub (no through axle)? can someone comfirm this?

What's the go with the Gary Fisher speculation on these bikes? I'm hearing mixed reports all over the place about them coming equipped with G2 Geometry. Mellow Johnny's saying they're not G2, M1Cycles saying it comes with G2. The Rumblefish was packing G2, not sure if it came with GF badges on it. But Why are we screaming the death of the Gary Fisher name, are these expected to phase out Superfly's?
