    Fuel EX brake hose length

I found a set of used SLX brakes. They have been only used 2 times and they are the 2013 models off a size medium scott spark. I seen pics and they look new. I was planning on replacing my elixer 5's. The front hose is 75cm long and the rear hose is 152cm. Does anyone know how long the hoses are on a 2011 Fuel EX 8.....I am away from my bike so I cannot take a measurement.

If it's a good deal and what you'd like, go ahead and buy them. Replacing hoses is relatively cheap and easy. Good excuse to switch to a color other than black if you like.

The price is very good. You can definitely take it. I bought SLX brakes too. Both hoses was too long and had to cut it.

Now do I get Ice tech pads or hold on pads until I need new ones? Wonder if there is any noticable difference on the ice tech rotors vs my avid rotors?

With used brakes, I always replace the pads...you never know what kind of contamination might be on/in them. It's cheap enough to just put in new pads and not worry about it.
