    fisher warranty policy....

    anyone know if you can deal direct with them? I hate the LBS i got my bike they deal direct w/ end users?

    cool...i found their # (NOT easy) and called them....I have to go back to those tools....great....

    Since when does it have to be the dealer you purchased it from? Wouldn't ANY Fisher dealer be able to provide warranty service once you show proof of purchase made at a GF dealer? I would think once the GF Road Rep sees the documentation you provide, the claim would get approved. Obviously, if there is any labor involved, you may have to pay that dealer for that service. That would be fair and proper. If the GF Road Rep asks you why you're at a different dealer, tell him the truth. You may be one of many dissatisfied customers. If GF has had enough complaints about that dealer they could sever/revoke that lbs's GF dealership. That does happen and GF/Trek is powerful enough to do that. They're also powerful enough to take care of you without it being an ordeal.
    Authorities speculate that speed may have been a factor. They are also holding gravity and inertia for questioning.

    Doesnt have to be the original, any Fisher dealer will do.What happens if you move out of state?
